this is the Lysimachus (successor of Alexander the Great) version of the Roman coin, and this one happens to be a sterling silver replica of the ancient coin, but it's vintage enough that the face of the coin has some time-earned softening.
the coin is held in an unmarked solid 14k yellow gold bezel that would have hung from a watch fob, so it doesn't have a bail currently. hang it from a connector clasp as shown in the photo or have a simple jump ring bail added to easily slide it on a chain
